Overview
Optional Item - Packages form part of the store front and enable you to sell all of the multiple sessions held in a Schedule to your customers or prospects using Schedules.
These are sessions that are set up to happen on a certain day at a certain time and the customer buys onto your entire schedule and the times are not negotiable. Great for Test Prep intensives and group classes.

To set this up Packages must be one of the green items in your Sections column.
Activate Session Type
The session type you use must be green in the Packages column.
Full or Individual Sale
Schedules may be sent to MarketPlace in 2 ways:
- a. Your customer buys onto the entire package attending each session as created by the schedule and the price is set to include all sessions. Covered in this tutorial.
- b. Your customer can just buy onto one or two sessions that belong to the schedule and the price is set by individual session which is covered in tutorial MP2.06.
Ready the Session Type
1. A package of sessions will need its own session type that matches the duration being sold in order for TutorFirst to release the correct amount of hours to the student and charge the correct rate to the customer.
Example:
I want to create a schedule of 20 hours (1200 minutes) to Marketplace for a Test Prep package. So I need a 20 hour session type with the correct name.
The price will be set in the schedule so if the price is different in set up that does not matter.
If you don't have the relevant session type available create a new one in Configure Session Types.
Customer Purchasing
2. If this item will be sold only as sessions in a schedule to buy onto, you don't need to set up customer purchasing, unless you want to load a picture.
3. To load a picture create a Customer Purchasing row. Press the pencil to load your picture and the pencil turns green to indicate a picture is loaded. You don't need default minutes if you are creating the sessions.
Create Schedule
4. Create your schedule in the normal way to include your sessions. Use Create Multiple Sessions and be sure to use your session type.
5. Add MarketPlace information to the following fields to send the data to your MarketPlace page to match the labels you have created.
- a. Class field - Quick description.
- b. Room field - Location if not included in your drop down location.
- c. REQUIRED For Sale field - Price for entire package. (does not have to match the Session Type page). Do not use a currency symbol.
- d. Sell Individually Check Box - Do NOT check this item.
- e. Display field - Full description of your package.
- f. Max Attendees field - Stop selling when this many students on the Schedule.
Note: If you create the schedule in advance and then come back and add the price to send it to MarketPlace it is necessary to select Recreate Schedule.
