Overview
Optional Item - Sending a Schedule as Individual Sessions forms part of the store front and enables you to sell one or more sessions held in a Schedule to your customers or prospects without them having to buy onto the entire Schedule.
These are sessions that are set up to happen regularly on a certain day at a certain time and the customer buys onto one or more of the pre-planned sessions and the times are not negotiable. Great for products you offer regularly to different people such as practice tests.

Activate Sessions
To set this up Sessions must be green in your Sections column as even though you are creating a schedule you are selling individual sessions.
Activate Session Type
The session type used to create the schedule must be green in the Sessions column.
Ready the Session Type
1. Unlike selling an entire schedule as a package, selling a schedule's individual sessions does not need it's own package session type. You may use your existing session types that are sold hourly.
Customer Purchasing
2. If this item will be sold only as sessions in a schedule to buy onto, you don't need to set up customer purchasing, unless you want to load a picture.
3. To load a picture create a Customer Purchasing row. Press the pencil to load your picture and the pencil turns green to indicate a picture is loaded. You don't need default minutes if you are creating the sessions for sale.
Create Schedule
4. Instead of creating lots of individual sessions to send to MarketPlace, if they follow a pattern you can use schedules to create them in one go and sell them separately.
Example:
I want to create a session for a mock/practice SAT test every Friday at 3pm for 4 hours to encourage students to try the test. They may only need to take it once or come back in 4 weeks and buy another one for example.
5. Create your schedule for individual sale by completing the following data to send your sessions to marketplace. The session type you use will form your Section header and is customer facing:
- Class field - Quick description.
- Room field - Location if not included in your drop down location.
- For Sale field - Price for each individual session. (does not have to match the Session Type page). Do not use currency symbol.
- Sell Individually Check Box - CHECK this item.
- Display field - Full description of your service.
- Max Attendees field - Stop selling a session when this many students assigned to session.
Note: If you create the schedule first and come back and add the price to send it to MarketPlace or the check mark to sell the sessions separately it is necessary to select Recreate Schedule to perform the update.
View on MarketPlace
6. Check MarketPlace and the Sessions will be listed separately under a session type Section heading.
7. The item will remain visible in Marketplace until:
- The maximum attendees has been met (either via MarketPlace or added by your admin team)
- The item is out of date
- You remove the price from the schedule in TutorFirst.
Note about Rate Overrides
8. If a student has a personalized session type rate set on the student status page for the session type you are selling, Marketplace will use the student's personalized rate rather than the rate you set in the Marketplace field. It will be changed during check out when the student name is selected. This allows you to set a rate in Marketplace but preferred customers will receive any agreed reduced rate automatically.
However, if the session is sent to marketplace as free or with a slashed price and the student rate is more, the rate will thus increase to the rate in the student record upon checkout.
