How to create a Promotional Coupon Code to be used by your customers when checking out in MarketPlace.

Create Promo Code
1. Go to: Setup > MarketPlace > open the instance of MarketPlace > Configuration.
2. Open Promo Codes.
3. Press Add Item and fill out the fields to create your code.
For a percentage off add the value and percent sign: 10% will be ten percent off at check out. 100% will make the item free at checkout.
For a set value reduction add the value only: 10 would be $10.00 off (or 10 of your currency)
4. Circulate your code as required with your marketing.
Check Out
5. When you customer checks out they will be able to add the code and the sub total will update. The code will apply to the entire cart.
The Invoice
6. When viewing the invoice in TutorFirst the full price will be in one line item and a discount in a new lineitem. All line items from MarketPlace will have MPortal in the lineitem and MP in the reference making custom report filtering easy.
7. The discount lineitem will have a session type of Discount and we will create this session type for you the first time it is used. This session type must not be changed in set up.
