are handled from the same area in setup.
Article Sections
Edit Text
1. Go to Setup.
2. From the Student section select LP Goal/PR Text.
3. The set up page will open. The windows on the left are for the Learning Plan and contain the default text.
4. The window on the right is for a standard progress report goal comment that will be available for each corresponding learning plan goal on the progress report.
Adjust Learning Plan Text
5. Make your changes and save. Changing the text for the Objective or the Monitoring and Assessment Methods will produce this text for each over-arching goal on a learning plan.
6. The STANDARD is a merge macro and will enter the text of the relevant over-arching standard automatically on the learning plan. Only remove this if you don't want the title of the over-arching standard in your learning plan text.
7. Any changes you make will show on the learning plan page.
Merge Macros
8. At the bottom of the page you will notice instructions about using two substitute variables (merge fields). The word DISTRICTHOURS will substitute the Service Hours from the Locations Program (district) page for government and agency contracts. The word STANDARD will substitute the name of the selected standard to complete your objective.
9. The DISTRICTHOURS and STANDARD merge fields are optional and do not have to be used.
Edit or Remove Progress Report Comment Text
10. Add a permanent text comment to the Progress Report text in the Progress Reports Comments area.
11. It will appear on the progress report page only if the student has a learning plan as this area is for reporting on the learning plan goals.
12. You do not have to have anything in this section and can leave it blank for the tutor to make notes. If nothing is in this box now or at the time the progress report is produced the comments section will not appear at all on the printed report.
