Overview
Automatic Learning Plan generation is only available if an Answer Key Test is programmed into Oases and each question or objective has been aligned with a learning goal.
Achieve Tests through Oases come with Common Core Associations already setup to make a Common Core learning plan.

To Have in Place
One of the following must be used:
- Achieve Testing with Common Core Standard Associations from Oases.
- Achieve Testing with State Standard Associations set by your Company.
- Your own Answer Key Test and Assigned Associated Standards set by your Company.
If you have none of the above you may create a manual learning plan.
Create Automatic Learning Plan
1. To create an automatic Learning Plan you will work from the student test tab after test results are in the test results list.
2. Place a check mark next to the test and press Generate LP.
3. You will receive a green confirmation that the Learning Plan has generated or a red notification that not all items are in place to use the selected test in the student record.
View Learning Plan
4. Press the LP tab in the student record to see your new learning plan.
5. The Learning Plan has a default setting of 3 over arching-standards with each of these having a maximum of 5 sub-skills (goals).
Sometimes an over arching standard will appear twice as the sub-skills are different for each occurrence.
6. Flick between the over-arching standards by selecting them from the drop down menu. This allows you to check the sub-skills and make a goal specific comment if required on each of the 3 pages.
Explain Oases Decision Making
7. If you are interested in Oases' decision making process return to the student's test tab and press Explain LP.
This will give you a breakdown of the the areas where the student performance was weakest as those are the areas that will be brought to the Learning Plan.
8. The Learning Plan explanation lists the number of questions correct for each objective or benchmark in descending order therefore the student's greatest area of weakness is at the top.
The Explain Learning Plan button works for automatically generated Learning Plans only.
Duplicate to Other Students
9. Once created (automatically or manually) a Learning Plan may be duplicated to other students in the group.
Circulation
10. When you have finished creating learning plans for multiple students these may be printed or downloaded in bulk to save time.
11. Learning Plans may be emailed individually from the student Learning Plan page should you need approval from the parent or school before proceeding.
Edit Learning Plan
12. You may change or add to the goals on an automatic learning plan by using the Delete Goal and Add Goal Buttons.
13. If you delete the learning plan and regenerate Oases will shuffle the available standards for the weakest areas.
Bulk Creation of Learning Plans
13. If you import test results or have multiple students submitting online answers for Achieve Tests learning plans may be made in bulk from the Student grid.
14. Check off the required students and select Create Learning Plans from the Actions menu.
