Overview
The Learning Plan whether made manually or automatically consists of one or more over-arching standards and sub-goals attached to that standard.
You can change an LP by adding a new goal or modifying or deleting an existing goal.

Add New Goal
1. From the learning plan tab in a student record click New Goal.
2. A window opens that displays the Instructional Focus, Grade and Goals.
3. Choose the Instructional Focus for the goal.
4. Change the grade if looking for a goal for a different grade.
5. Drop the menu for Standard Group and select your over-arching standard.
6. Press Add Goal when selected.
7. The new goal will be added to the learning plan.
NOTE: This will bring in default text for the Objective and Progress Monitoring and Assessment Methods in the center area of the grid. The bottom grid area will populate with the actual standards you'll be using to measure progress appropriate to the student needs, instructional focus and grade level.
8. Select the standard goals (sub-skills) you require by clicking the red X on the far left of the goals required. The red X will become a green check mark.
9. Add a goal specific comment for your new standard at the bottom of the learning plan.
Modify Existing Goal
10. Choose an over-arching standard or view the over-arching standards on a learning plan by using the drop down menu at the top left of the learning plan page.
11.When selected, you will see the Objective box, Monitoring and Assessment Methods box, the Standard goals grid.
12. Change any standard goals by clicking the red x or green check to the left of the individual goals.
13. Click Print LP to view the Learning Plan changes in pdf format.
Delete Existing Standard
14. Choose an over-arching standard or view the over-arching standards on a learning plan by using the drop down menu at the top left of the learning plan page.
14. Select the goal you wish to delete. Click the Delete Goal button.
