If you are using an optical reader to compile Achieve Test answers you may import these to an active student by template.

Template Import
This is a template import and the student responses will need to be copied and pasted from the optical reader report into the TutorFirst Import Template.
Consider completing the following instructions for one student or a fake student prior to importing multiple results for multiple students.
Download the Template
1. Go to Setup - Data Import - Template Import.
2. Select your program and then select Test Results from the template list.
Test Type ID
3. Open the Test Type ID's list and make a note of the ID for your Achieve Pre Test or Post test as required. Your ID's may differ from the example below.
Prepare Template
4. Fill out the template with the student ID from the program page of the student record in TutorFirst and student name exactly as it appears in TutorFirst.
5. Add the date the test was taken.
6. Add the test ID.
7. If the student took only part of the test add the IF code in column F.
8. If they took the entire test but you would like to load the sections separately to receive separate scores add two rows for that student as shown in the example below.
9. Paste the results into the template using Paste Special to avoid any formatting or formulas.
10. If taking LA only paste into 1 through 44, if MA only paste into 45 through 80.
11. Save spreadsheet.
Import Template
12. Back on the import page select your saved spreadsheet.
13. Upload.
14. You will receive a green confirmation when tests are imported.
Error Message
15. Any error message will tell you the line on the spreadsheet with the problem. Correct the spreadsheet and repeat.
16. If reporting an error you can't solve be sure to attach your import spreadsheet to the ticket.
Charges
17. Achieve is a charged test. Be careful not to import duplicates as these will be charged. Students must also be active to load test results imported or manual and this may cause a tier change when you make students active.
Grading
18. TutorFirst will grade the test using the results and the student's grade. If testing off grade do not import results, load them manually choosing the off grade test.
