Gather Additional Information
When a new customer checks out TutorFirst will create the customer record automatically. However, use the Webform to gather additional information.
Webform Notification
If you have added a notification email address you will receive a notification that the Webform has been submitted so you may wish to include the first and last name so the notification has identification.
Address Confirmation
Include the street address as fields on your Webform as when using a credit card the card billing address is added and may differ to the customer's actual address.
Concierge Service
When transitioning to a new platform the forms you have on your website are often the items you need to switch out early, while you are not familiar with your new TutorFirst platform. To save time while you are learning TutorFirst we can create Custom Fields and your new Webform for you as part of our paid Concierge Service.
Concierge is billed at $75.00 per hour. Submit a support ticket with the name, type and fields required for your new Webfrom and we will quote to build it for you.
Create Webform
1. Create a Single Paged Customer Webform for use with Marketplace. No other forms will work.
Follow instructions in WF08. Create a Customer Enrollment Webform
2. As this form will be used in MarketPlace, you don't need:
- To select the destination program for the record in your database as this is handled by MarketPlace.
- A website URL to show to your new customer when they have completed the form as they will continue on to their account.
3. Do add the email of the staff member who will receive notification that this WebForm has been submitted via marketplace.
4. When you are ready press Save.
Note About Subjects & Levels
5. Subjects & Levels do not work with a MarketPlace WebForm.
See WF08.Create a Customer Enrollment WebForm for more information about creating WebForms.
Add Your Form to Your MarketPlace Setup
6. On the Configuration tab of your MarketPlace instance open the Webform section and select your WebForm and add additional settings.
Test Your Form
7. You can test your form without purchasing by setting the form to show prior to check out.
