Overview
Webforms enable you to build a form in Oases that creates code that can be published on your website thereby displaying an active form.
If you don't have a website a direct access link is provided to email out to prospects/applicants.
When the form is submitted by a visitor to your website the information will create records in your Oases database in a destination of your choosing. The destination can be an existing field or a custom field you have created.

Types of WebForm
Oases can create:
- Staff Forms so that potential employees may apply for a job.
- Customer Forms so that new customers may enroll for services - includes student names and basic student information only.
- Student form to add a student and a customer or update an existing customer that has a record in Oases.
- Customer WebForm to be incorporated in MarketPlace purchase and sign up.
Default WebForms
Your database will come with a basic webform for each area. You can delete or edit these forms. To use a default webform you will need to press the pencil on the form and add information such as your notification email, destination program and post submit URL prior to publishing.
Concierge Service
When transitioning to a new platform the forms you have on your website are often the items you need to switch out early, while you are not familiar with your new Oases platform. To save time while you are learning Oases we can create Custom Fields and your new WebForm for you as part of our paid Concierge Service.
Concierge is billed at $75.00 per hour. Submit a support ticket with the name, type and fields required for your new WebFrom and we will quote to build it for you.
To Have in Place
1. Before you start, create any custom fields you may need in the destination records where your new WebForm will deliver information.
2. Consider creating a custom destination for your new records such as a program called Applicants or New Enrollments.
3. Create two new pages on your website for each form.
- One will contain the form code and above it you can add text with instructions before posting the form code. - this will be the page that displays the form. Do not add this new page to your menu until you have tested your new form.
- The second will be a Thank You page that will display to the form submitter after submission. This will be published to your site but will not show in any menus. On this page you can say thanks for the submission and detail the process or next steps that will be taken.
Make sure you have both page URL's to hand so that you can view the pages as you build your form.
WebForm Testing
Publish your webform to your website to test it or use the direct access link to view your form as you build.
Move it to the menu after testing so that your potential customers may find it.
