Location of Enrollment Type
1. In the student record this is allocated on the Info tab.
2. If importing this will be a column on your import sheet.
Why does TutorFirst have Enrollment Types
3. The enrollment type tells TutorFirst which invoicing module to use to invoice for the student services, or more simply, where the money and hours are coming from.
The Enrollment Types
Private - Services are being paid for by an individual such as a parent, guardian, an adult student paying for themselves or a company paying for just one or two students such as a scholarship.
SES - SES students are paid for by an institution or agency and the invoice is created by TutorFirst for each student tutoring hour. A one hour session with five students would generate an invoice of five hours.
ELT- Students are paid for by an institution or agency and the invoice is created by TutorFirst for each session hour. A one hour session with five students would generate an invoice of one hour.
The Enrollment Type Triangle
4. Three items will need to match for all students for the money to be handled correctly. The following must all have the same type:
- The Student
- The Program
- The Session Type
Invoicing Modules
5. The invoicing module for that style of billing must be active in your database.
6. If you need a new invoicing module activated as it is missing or you have a new contract this may be activated in setup. Admins in the main menu select: Setup > Company > Config Settings > Invoicing and select which modules you need from the drop down menu and save.
7. Logout and back in again to see changes.
