Overview
Trigger emails to send when either or both of the two custom session buttons are pressed.

To Have in Place
At least one extra session button.
Switch on Trigger
1. Go to: Setup > Up > Company > Config Settings > Email.
2. Scroll down to:
- Email on Session Button 1
- and/or Email on Session Button 2
3. Select who should be emailed when the button is selected in a session.
Create Email Templates
4. Go to: Setup > Other > Template Setup.
5. In the All Macros menu search on the word button.
6. There are 6 email templates - 3 for each button to send different emails to Student, Parent or Tutor.
7. Select the required template for your settings and update by adding your own required text and any merge macros required from the dynamic list.
8. Each template has testing text to assist with testing, to indicate which template you have triggered.
9. You may leave the Testing Text in while you perform tests on a fake record but please remove this text prior to going live.
10. The emails will be triggered when the custom session button is turned on for the first time (when the prior setting of the button was not active). So you may send the email again by turning the button off and then back on again.
