How to merge student records where you have found a duplication.

Merge not Delete
If you merge a duplication any sessions for that student will also be merged and you may then check the session history for accuracy.
Field Data
Field Data will be merged to the recipient record only if the data field in the recipient record is empty. No data will be overwritten.
Find Duplicates
Use the find duplicates function if you are unsure if you have duplicates.
Merge Student
1. In the student list filter to the duplicate students you wish to merge. Consider adding delete after the last name in the record you will be merging from.
2. Place a check mark to the left of the student record that will be merged and deleted.
3. From the Actions menu that appears when an item is checked type merge and select Merge Student Record.
4. In the merge field type in the last name of the student record that will receive the information.
5. Select the record from the list and press Merge Now.
All data such as sessions, notes, tests will be merged. Hours for both students will go to the remaining student.
Record fields will only be updated in the remaining record if that field was empty prior to the merge.
