Release a Session Type to Customer Purchasing
2. Go to Set Up.
3. From the section named Other, select Customer Purchasing.
4. Add a row if required and in the first field select the session type you wish to send to Customer Purchasing and then in the second field create a customer facing name for your session type if necessary. Give it the same name as the session type if appropriate.
Note: A session type may be selected only once on this page.
5. If selling a package of hours make sure that the session type is also set up as a package.
Default Session Length
6. Set Default Session Minutes - If I am selling a package of 24 hours the session type is programmed as 1440 minutes for a total of $960.00 for that 1440 minutes. So you will be selling a package of 1440 minutes.
However, if they are booking a session with this package you don't want the session they book to be 24 hours long so set your Default Session Minutes to be the length of the session that will drop in automatically when booking a session with your session type.
Default only - If it has to be that length then turn on Default. But if the default is one hour but you are okay with them booking a longer session then leave this area blank.
7. Load a graphic by pressing on the image icon. Your graphic can include additional information about your offering. A green graphic icon indicates a graphic is present.
Test Your Settings
8. Visit your published MarketPlace Storefront and test placing items in your cart.
Split Invoicing
9. If you have split invoicing set up for the cost of a student's services to be shared between two customers, TutorFirst normally creates the two invoices automatically portioning the cost per the saved breakdown. If one of those customers or parents orders services with Customer Purchasing the bill will not be split by TutorFirst and will be the responsibility of the ordering parent.
