Overview
The permissions tab in the staff page deals with two types of permission: The Access Level and Location Permissions. Location permissions are required for scheduling and login.

Access Permissions
This is the left hand section of the page and is the level of access to Oases and as such what they can see and what they can do when logged in. See tutorial SF04.
Location Permissions
The right hand section of the permissions page deals with the locations that a staff member is permitted to work with when they are being scheduled or when they log in as shown below.

Assign Location Permissions
1. Set your location (or geographical) permissions on the right hand side of the permissions tab.
2. Press on a program under permitted locations to view specific location permissions.
3. Activate a location permission by pressing Edit.
Turn on all programs and locations by pressing the green check dot at the top.
Or press on a program and fine tune location permissions on the right.
4. Repeat for any other programs.
Allocate a new location to all staff in the program
5. If you create a new service location after having completed your staff permissions you can quickly assign that location to all staff members (and students) from the Associated Locations tab where you created the new location.
6. From Locations select your Program. Then Associated Locations.
7. Press the staff icon to give permission to all staff and Oases will ask you to confirm.
Removing Location Permissions
8. A Location permission cannot be removed if a session exists for that tutor in that location until a month after the last session date. An error message will present to advise.
