Overview
There are two types of Note in a session, one is customer facing the other is private.
As they perform different functions it is important to know the difference.

The Student Session Note - Available to parents/customers via login, email and progress report.
The Session Note
1. This is a private note for the company. It may be used to give instructions to a tutor or make a note of cancellation etc. This area is NOT used for student notes
2. Press Show/Hide next to Session Notes to open the text box.
3. Type in your note.
The Student Session Note
4. As a session may have more than one student attending, it is possible to write a unique student note for each.
5. This is added in the student panel in the session.
6. A student session note template may be selected if required.
7. Repeat this for any student on the session.
Visibility
8. If Note Circulation is on in the Config Settings, the student session note may be displayed via the parent/customer login when the session is approved or pulled to progress reports.
9. These notes may also be viewed in composite from the student record.
10. Automatic emailing of the student session note to the parent is also controlled by Config Settings.
