Overview
Flags are a simple and fast way for an Admin, Coord or LeadT access level to mark a session as flagged for filtering and/or work required. Flags are named for your requirements by an Admin.

Setup Flag Names

1. Admin user go to: Setup > Other > Flags.
2. Press Add New Row.
3. Choose a color or assign a hex color number.
4. Name your flag.
5. Repeat for additional flags.
6. Press Apply Changes when complete.
Permissions
7. If you don't want Lead Teachers or Coordinators to be able to view or assign flags update permissions.
8. Go to: Setup > Staff > Permissions > Select Permission > Open Sessions section.
9. For Session flags choose between Read Only or Hidden (Visible is full access).
Assigning & Removing Flags

10. Flags can be assigned from the session grid or inside a session.
11. Working from the session grid, press on the flag icon at the end of a session row in the session list and select the required flag. Only one flag may be allocated to a session.
12. Press Clear Flag to remove a flag.
13. The selected flag will be applied.
14. Inside the session the flag appears top right. Press the flag to assign or remove.

15. Working from the session list check off sessions to receive a specific flag or to have flags removed.
16. In the Actions menu type flags and select Set Flags, then press the grey flag and choose an option. Clear Flag will remove all assigned flags.
Filtering by Flags
17. Press Filter on the Session List page and type flag into the Show Types filter. Make this selection and any other filter selections required for your task.
18. As normal press the red no-entry sign to clear all filters on the page.
Flags in Custom Reports
19. In Session and Schedule custom reports there is a field called Session Flag. Add this to the selected fields and the preview results will include the flag name.
20. Report results.
