
Overview
The Staff Bio is divided into two parts:
- The Staff Bio which is customer facing and flows to MarketPlace and various email macros.
- The Extended Bio is not customer facing allowing you to show information from the Bio and supplement that information with private notes to be visible in Schedule Availability & Invitations and Intelligent Match.

Population
The Staff Bio may be populated by initial staff import, a staff application WebForm, manually by the Admin Team or manually via the Tutor Login.
Visibility & Access
The tutor can see their own staff bio when they login to TutorFirst.
The tutor cannot see their extended bio when they login to TutorFirst.
Follow the directions below if you don't want your tutors to be able to edit their bio.
Edit Bio Permissions
1. Open the staff record and navigate to the Certifications tab and press Edit.
2. Uncheck the box that says Tutor Edit Bio if you don't want Tutors to be able to edit their own Bio via the Tutor Login.
3. Close the section and the indicator will have changed.
4. To perform this action in bulk select the tutors you want to update in the staff grid and select the relevant option in the ACTIONS menu.
View Via Intelligent Match
5. In intelligent Match check Show Detail under the map to expand the tutor information panels to display the Extended Bio.
6. You may also press the flag on the tutor location map and press MORE DETAILS to view an individual's Extended Bio.

7. Pressing the expand arrow will show Extended Bios for your filtered staff.
