
Overview
If you would like your parents or students to check in and out of sessions on a computer or an iPad in reception, TutorFirst can be set to Check In /Check Out (CICO) mode.

Open Check In Check Out Mode
1. On the computer or device to be used for Check In Check Out (CICO), login to TutorFirst. This must be done by a user with an access level to see all the sessions that will be included for Check In Check Out that day at that location.
2. Navigate to the Sessions List.
3. On the Sessions List press the month button and select: Today. Close pop up.
4. Press Filter and filter to the required location
5. At the bottom of the page change the show records button to include all sessions on one page.
6. Place a check mark next to all sessions using the check box at the top of the list.
7. In the Actions menu choose Check In Check Out Mode.
8. The Check In Check Out screen will open and may be left open all day as students come and go.
How To Check In or Out
9. Parents or students simply select Checking In or Checking Out.
10. Once selected a field will appear and users put in the first few letters of the student last name.
11. When the green bar appears with the correct student, press the green bar to initiate the sign field. (Students must be assigned to one of the sessions selected in the student grid to appear in this manner)
12. Parent or student types initials or full name and presses confirm. If a mistake is made just start over and perform again.
13. Press Start Over to return to the main screen for the next transaction.
Exit CICO
14. To return to TutorFirst at the end of the day press the padlock at the bottom of the screen. On a large screen this will be at the far bottom left.
15. In the panel that opens enter the password of the user who initiated Check In Check Out mode and press Exit. TutorFirst will close Check In Check Out and return to the main database of the user who initiated CICO mode.
Session Display
16. CICO times and the intitals or name entered, will be displayed in each relevant session bottom right of the student panel.
Reporting
17. Check In Check Out times are available in the Session Custom Report area for full reporting.
