Overview
Welcome to the Parent/Customer area of TutorFirst.
When you have created your password please log in to the TutorFirst management system with your email and the password you have just set.

Student Tab
1. You will see a list of your student name/s and perhaps a list of documents depending on whether your provider has loaded any documents for your use.
2. Press on Show Hours to see hours left for your students. This total is any pre-purchased hours less hours completed. The total will include any scheduled or unscheduled hours.

Student Details
3. Press on a student name to find out more information. You will see four sections; Details, Hours, Attendance and one with Documents. Place a check mark in Show All to see past purchases for your student.
4. DETAILS - General information about your student.
5. SUMMARY OF HOURS -
- Invoiced - the number of hours invoiced in total or during a date range.
- Used Time - Sessions closed out by your tutor.
- Scheduled - Number of hours scheduled in total including used time.
- Unscheduled Time - Number of hours invoiced but not scheduled.
A negative number in Unscheduled Time is the number of hours that have been scheduled but not invoiced yet.
6. ATTENDANCE - A list of sessions.
7. DOCUMENTS - Items for download such as any Learning Plans, Progress Reports and Tests.

8. Session Status
- Blank - The session had not yet taken place or the tutor has not yet closed it out.
- Submitted - The tutor has finished closing the session.
- Reviewed - A supervisor has checked the session.
- Approved - The management team has finalized the session. Any session notes made by the tutor will be visible to you after the session is approved.

9. Press on an approved session to see any progress notes made by the tutor.
Calendar Tab
10. Press on the Calendar tab in the main menu at the top of the screen to see a calendar featuring sessions for all of your students.
11. Press in the calendar to request a session. If the Session Requests pop up does not open then this function has been turned off by your provider.
12. The color of the sessions represent the status.
- Green = Approved
- Blue = Reviewed
- Orange = Submitted
- Grey = not processed per the explanations above.
- A requested session will be pale blue until confirmed by your provider.
Billing Tab
13. Press on Billing in the main menu to see Account details with 4 tabs:
Under the Account tab you will see:
Account Status - Balance of your account and link to add a card and make a payment.
My Subscriptions - If you are on a subscription plan your details will show here. If you are not on a subscription this area will not be present. Subscriptions are hours sold for a date range on a use-it-or-lose-it basis.
Account History - A list of invoices and payments - press Show Details to list items and press on a row to open
Notes - If your provider has added any notes these will show at the bottom of the page.
14. Press Print statement in the Account Status section to see a print out of your Account History.
Add Credit Card for Payments
15. If your service provider has opted for credit card processing in TutorFirst you will see a Payment Methods Button and a Make Payment Button in the Account Status section to save credit card numbers and run transactions respectively.
Storefront
16. If there is a Storefront option in the main menu, you can purchase items for your account.
17. From the Storefront press Home to return to your account.
