Overview
If a student has credit hours for a particular session type they may book a tutor via MarketPlace and check out using those credit hours.
Article Sections
Hours on Account
1. If a student has hours on account they may check out with a zero value invoice when booking a tutor.
2. The hours on account must cover the entire session booking or a charge will be levied. MarketPlace will not process part sessions.
3. The hours on account must be the same session type as selected for the tutor booking.
Check Out
4. When the tutor booking is placed in the cart the price for the booking will show as normal as MarketPlace does not know at this time which student to check for credit hours.
5. When the student name is selected from an existing account where the student has credit for the session type the amount will adjust.
6. It is still necessary for your customer to press place order to complete the booking.
The Invoice
7. An invoice is still created and will have a quantity of zero as no sale has been made but will feature the date of the session in the description for your and your customer's records. The invoice reference will also be preceded by MP for easy identification.
The Session
8. The session will be created as normal with the student's Program and assigned location and the time in the first checked Instructional Focus code.
