Overview
Customers can log into Oases via the standard login URL or via a White Label parent portal that you can post or link to via your website.
They can view and print the calendar, answer key tests, learning plans, progress reports, invoices and statements. The Student Session Notes may also be read on approved sessions.

White Label Login
1. To host a white label login on your website for your customers to login:
- If you have not activated MarketPlace, go to: Setup > MarketPlace > copy the snippet > post to your website.
- If you have activated MarketPlace, go to: Setup > MarketPlace > Select MarketPlace > Configurations > Snippet > copy the snippet > post to your website.
2. To use a white label URL not posted on your website direct your customers to login via:
https://mp.oasesonline.com/login/
Update this URL in the email template for Welcome/Verify Create or Change Password email to Parent before creating customer logins.
Parent Records for Agency Students
3. Private Pay students must have a customer record linked to the student record but it is not necessary to have a customer record for agency or contract tutoring, as the parent is not paying. However, should you wish to create a non-paying parent account so as to give access to the customer portal for the above features you may.

4. Working from the People > Customer list. Check off the records to have a login and in the Actions menu select Create User Login. The email will be sent to those records inviting them to set their password.

5. In the main menu select: People > Customers. If you wish to work with the customer of an inactive student press Filter and select to show Inactive from the drop down menu.
6. Filter by searching on last name and open the customer record by pressing on the last name of the customer record.
7. On the Details Tab press Edit. Add the email address to the Username field and press Create Login.
8. Oases will email the customer using the template called: Welcome/Verify create or change password email to parent. This email will provide a link for them to create their password.
Remember you can change or add to the information that goes out with the system generated email for the Parent Welcome Email.

9. When created the password boxes will show. You do NOT need to set the password. The email that goes out will allow your parents to create their own password.
The Billing Tab
10. If you are creating a login for the parent of an agency/contract student (services paid for by an outside agency) you can choose not to show the billing tab if they will not be invoiced for services or incidentals. Press Edit on the Info tab and set SHOW BILLING to off. This will remove the billing page from that log in and avoid confusion. This is at the bottom of the Details page.
11. The email to the customer/parent that invites them to create their password can be adjusted in set up templates. The default has a link to the parent information area of the knowledge base.

12. If a login has been created the email address will be shaded green in the customer list.

13. To see if a customer has logged in view the toggle view of the customer grid by pressing the shuffle icon.
14. If a customer has failed to create their password and not logged in then the link may be resent by pressing VERIFY next to the email address in the record. Note - the verify button will not be present if a login has not been created.

15. In the main menu select: Setup > Other > Template Setup.
16. In the search field of the Select Template dropdown menu type Welcome.
17. Select Welcome email sent to new parent.
18. Add logo or any text as required. Do not remove the macro for #SIGNUPLINK# or your customers will not be able to click and set their password unless you are switching this macro out with alternative sign up link macros.
Sign up Link Macros
#SIGNUPLINKTEXT# Placing this link in the email instead of the Sign up link macro will automatically place the text Click here to Create Password in a link format. Just the macro is required.
#SIGNUPLINKURL# using this link in your HTML code will allow you to add text of your choice to the link.
19. To use the URL link, Press </> to open the HTML editor in the email template.
20. Find where the original sign up link is located.
21. Using Command F on a mac or Control F on a PC and typing in #Signuplink# in the search area will highlight this for you in the text.
22. Highlight your highlighted text and paste in the following

23. If you can't see your recent pasted info, in your Command/Control F search bar type in - your required text here - to highlight the text in the link you will change.
24. Type in the text you would like for your link.
25. Press </> to return to the text editor and view your link.
26. Test your new template by creating a login for a fake parent with an email you can access.
Troubleshooting
27. If a recipient deletes or cannot find the email ask them to check their junk folder. You can check if when it was sent and the status from the Email Log report.
Tools > Reports > Other > Email Log. Search the email address and check for the status of Send_Confirm_Email in the Type column.
Send the email again by pressing Verify next to the email address on the Contact Info page of the record.
28. If you receive an error message that the email address is already in use, this means the email address is being used to log into an Oases database already. This could be with another tutoring company. Your customer can reach out to the other tutoring company and ask to have the login removed or provide an alternate email address.

29. On the Details tab of the Customer record press Edit. Update email address and press Verify so the email address updates on the login and the staff member gets the email to reset their password to the new email address.

30. Go back to the customer list and filter to the record you have changed. If the background is red then you have not pressed Verify and the login is still with the old email address. Go back into the record and press verify. Check again that the background turns green in the main list.
31. If you hover over an email address in a red background it will tell you the login email.
Interface Translation
32. The customer portal interface will translate to Spanish or Chinese if the user logging in has their browser language set to Spanish or Chinese.
