The following changes have been made to Oases October 5th 2017.
1. New Student Status returned to Auto (Active)
Due to an overwhelming response to the recent change where new students entered manually defaulted to Inactive, we have reversed this change. When adding a new student manually the status on the student's Status page will be Auto and they will save as active and be billable unless an Inactive code is chosen before the first save.
This does not apply to WebForm submissions and Marketplace where new students will continue to be created as Inactive.
2. Prevent Tutors From Deleting Sessions
It is now possible to prevent tutors from deleting sessions from the session grid or calendar. If you would like this configuration activated in your database please submit a support ticket.
3. Orphaned Schedules Now Display in Schedule Grid
Orphaned Schedules, those with no sessions attached, will now show in the schedule grid. Previously these schedules were removed by Oases as a non-viable schedule. However, since the addition of the details tab displaying custom fields, important information may be lost or have to be re-entered if access to the schedule is not possible. Now the orphaned schedule may be identified and deleted or opened and sessions added.
Orphans will appear at the top of the schedule grid when opening schedules. The oldest will be at the top and the most recent orphan at the end of the orphan list. Please check your schedule list for orphans and delete ones not required.
